Online Renewal

Postcard renewal notices have been mailed to licensees with a license expiration date of 2/28/2018. If a licensee does not receive a postcard renewal notice or would prefer to submit a paper renewal application, please contact the state committee office by telephone, fax, or email. The contact information is included on this webpage. The renewal fee of $250 is applicable to licenses renewed prior to the expiration date. There is a separate processing fee, paid directly to vendor, when renewing online.

To update an please mail, email, or fax any address changes to the state committee office. Please include the license number if possible. Address changes cannot be made by calling the state committee office. See mail, email, or fax information below.

If renewing online, the renewal process must be completed prior to midnight February 28, 2018. After midnight, the online renewal system will not be available. Licensees are encouraged to access the online system no later than 11:45 p.m. on February 28th to allow adequate time to complete the renewal process. If submitting a paper renewal form, licensees are reminded that the envelope containing the renewal form and fee must be postmarked no later than February 28, 2018. Renewals postmarked after February 28, 2018 will require a late fee along with the $250 renewal fee. Applicable late fees are $75 [license reinstated within sixty (60) days of the expiration date or $100 license reinstated within sixty-one (61) days to two (2) years of the expiration date].

Sensitive Information

When corresponding with the State Committee of Marital & Family Therapists by e-mail and/or facsimile (fax), please refrain from including any sensitive personal identifying information such as Social Security Number or Date of Birth. The State Committee does not need you to include sensitive personal information, in order to respond to your email or fax.
